Gerald F. Melvin

On November 23, 2024 of Williamstown. Age 80. Beloved husband of the late Maryann (Fusco). Devoted father of Lisa Miksit (Francis), Maryann Werner (Francis), and Patty Briganti (Paul). Loving grandfather of Anthony (Bethann), Lea (Chris), Ryan (Rachel), Mark (Renata), Kevin (Kerry), Avril, and Nina. Proud great-grandfather of Gabriella, Kristina, Landon, Colton, Fiona, Nathan, and Abigail. Dear brother of the late William Foley, Joseph Foley, and James Melvin. Dear brother-in-law of Theresa Tartaglia (Robert). Loved by nieces and nephews. Survived by lifelong friends Barry and Nancy Serrano.

Family and friends were everything to Jerry. Jerry was a loving husband, father, and Pop, and a friend to many.  Jerry was a devoted husband for six decades to the late Maryann.

Jerry lived to bring a smile to everyone’s face he met by telling one of his infamous jokes and it brought him great joy and happiness.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation Monday, December 2^nd 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Memorial service 12:00 PM.

In honor of Gerald’s life, in lieu of flowers or others acts of sympathy, the family encourages donations to the American Diabetes Association.
