George H. Fulton Jr., age 82, of Blackwood departed on November 22, 2024 at Samaritan in Voorhees from lung cancer. He was born in Philadelphia on November 18, 1942. He grew up in Vineland and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. George graduated with honors from Salem Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology. He was employed by Bell Telephone Labs for four years in R & D. He completed specialized courses at Rutgers University, NY University, and the Newark College of Engineering. He joined Ace Glass Inc. of Vineland in 1967 and retired four decades later as their Engineering Manager, Electronics Dept.
George was a hunter and more recently the cabin boy of Menantico Gun Club. He loved going to Maine with the guys to hunt and fish. He enjoyed traveling, walking, hiking, reading, and watching golf and the Philadelphia sports teams on TV. He was a former marathon runner. He was also known as Mr. Fix-it.
He was predeceased by his parents, the late George H. Sr. and Elizabeth Fulton of Vineland and his wife of fifteen years, the late Rita Miller.
George is survived by his sisters Joyce Glaser, Elizabeth White, and Regina Rossi, all of Vineland, and their families, daughter Lisa (David) Haas of Franklinville, Daniel Fulton (Hsiao Ni) of Elkton, MD, grandchildren Zachary Taylor of Pennsville, Kathryn Taylor of OH, and Evangeline Fulton of MD, stepdaughter Kathryn (Bryan) Berthold of Atco and family, George’s nieces and cousins and their families, and his lifelong friends.
