On May 18, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 77. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Mathews). Devoted father of Laura Borchmann (Dan) and George A. Schultz, III (Angela). Loving grandfather of Aidan, Cara, Brett, George, IV, and Andrew. Loved by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Survived by his furry companion Sandy.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 9:00 – 10:30 AM at The Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Washington Twp. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

Thank you "Bubble Man" for blowing the very best bubbles every Halloween! I would also like to say thank you for your service and thank you for taking the time each Halloween to have the lengthy conversations with my husband who also served in the military. I am thankful for that and giving my husband some inspiration too! May you have a bubble fest up in heaven!! Rest easy sir!

Dearest Mary,
Michael and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of our friend George. We will miss the flowers for our unit and the bubbles floating from the 4th floor balcony. George had such a sense of humor regardless of what trials and tribulations he was going through. We will miss seeing him zipping down the road. May God give you the strength to deal with the days and months ahead.

Uncle George could always make anyone laugh or smile. He was always so kind and generous. I have so many memories going to visit as kids but my favorite adult memory is when we visited for a mini-sisters reunion and I said how I loved the iron plant holder at their house and Uncle George went straight out in the garage and made me one. I still have it and it sits right outside my studio window holding my bird feeder and I think of him every day as I watch the birds. He was a special soul and I'll miss him dearly.

He was the best dad Grandpop and father in law anyone could ever ask for. The most selfless man and the MOST patient man!! No matter how sick he was he always asked about you. Anywhere he went he made an impression on someone. Whether it was blowing bubbles passing out his homemade flowers. Passing out light up bracelets to anyone that would accept them. He made crafts for the Girl Scouts every year he could. I have so many things in my house that remind me of him. He would always call me when the weather was bad to be careful. He loved puzzles, going on the boardwalk and winning stuffed animals on the claw machine. Which he was very good at. Lol when we were younger we had a boat called the yellow banana. lol We went water skiing. He had a motorcycle. We went for rides. I could go on. He is going to be missed terribly.
