Fred E. Silbereisen, D.O., passed away on March 12, 2018, after a long illness. Survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lois (nee Wigglesworth) and his loving son Erik, of Sicklerville.
An only child born in Connecticut, Fred was a 1955 graduate of the University of Connecticut and a 1959 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was a family physician in Blackwood for 20 years and later an emergency room doctor for Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside, NJ. He was a resident of Washington Twp. for 58 years. After retiring he enjoyed extensive travel, swimming and playing bridge at the Senior Center.
At Fred’s request, there will be no viewing or memorial service. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.
