Frank J. George, on June 13, 2021 of Washington Twp. Age 74. Beloved husband of Alexis (nee Forte). Devoted father of Stephanie Chambers (Marsh), Alexis Kennedy (Kenneth), and Eric George (Jennifer). Loving grandfather of Alexa (Ryan), Sean, Emma, Grace, Jack, Olivia, and Frank. Dear brother of William George, Thomas Hilley, Timothy Hilley and Colleen Scanga.
Frank George was a devoted husband to his wife, Alexis, for 53 years; she was the true love of his life, and everyone who knew him also knew the love and respect they shared. To say the joys of his life were his children and grandchildren would be an understatement. Frank’s entire world was built around his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and he enjoyed entertaining and laughing with his family. Specifically, Frank loved his summers in Ocean City, NJ where he enjoyed sharing his favorite activities including crabbing, fishing, and spending time on the beach with his family.
A godly man, Frank was full of wisdom that he regularly imparted on anyone in need. And he didn’t just stop at sharing his wisdom. He was generous beyond all reasonable expectations. If he knew a friend needed something, he made sure to do whatever he could to help meet that friend’s need. He was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of calling him friend. He truly had the heart of a servant.
Frank will be remembered for many passions, and food was high on his list. In particular, among his family and friends, he and Alexis were known for hosting many holiday meals in their home. Additionally, he was a true connoisseur of brick oven pizza and cream donuts. Frank was also an avid Eagles fan, and he was beyond thrilled to see them win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.
A hardworking man, he proudly owned and operated Logos Neckwear for 30 years, and not one to sit idly around, he also owned and operated Fast Fix, a jewelry repair franchise in Cherry Hill, NJ.
A true hero to his family and friends, Frank bravely fought Parkinson’s Disease for twenty years. His body may have failed him, but he never let it affect his spirit. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but we are comforted knowing that he is no longer suffering, and we will see him and his glorified body again.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 9:30-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Washington Twp.
