Francis J. Madison, III, of Somerdale

On December 29, 2016, Frank Madison died peacefully Thursday morning with his family by his side. He was 41. Frank fought his fight against brain cancer until the Lord called him home. A loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and best friend to many who loved him. Frank left his mark in this world as a teacher, mentor, coach, tutor, marathon runner, musician and adventurer. A very loving, caring and religious man, Frank mentored many through the Young Life Program. The first to be there if you needed anything with an act of kindness and often a joke or witty remark. A huge Flyers fan. LGF. Let’s Go Flyers, Let’s Go Frank.

Beloved son of Margaret (nee Meehan) and the late Francis J. Madison, Jr. Loving brother of Stephen (Laura) and James Madison (Toni). Dear uncle of Sammy, Jimmy and Kate. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of his Life begins with viewing services Sunday evening from 6 till 9 pm and again Monday morning 9 till 10 am followed by the celebration at 10am at Calvary Chapel, 5360 Route 42, Suite 16, Turnersville, NJ 08012
Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it tonight to honor the life of Mr. Madison. He was hands down the best teacher that I ever had, and an even greater friend. High school wasn't the easiest time for me, but Mr. Madison made sure I laughed every single day. He wrote my college letter of recommendation, and to this day I'm convinced that his kind words are the reason that I'm fulfilling my dreams. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, he was an absolutely amazing man and he will be deeply missed.
