Frances Barbara Smith (nee Kleinhans), age 96, died on February 12, 2014.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Smith lived in W. Collingswood, NJ and in Turnersville, NJ. Widowed since 1998, she lived among dear friends until she moved to Port Deposit, MD. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Sharp.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and husband, George S. Smith, and extended family members. She is survived by her son, Robert S. Smith (wife, Tori) of Kannapolis, NC and daughter, Barbara L. Sharp (husband, Ed) of Port Deposit, MD.
Mrs. Smith was a devout Lutheran and a congregant of St. Luke’s Apostle’s Lutheran Church in W. Collingswood, NJ and of Apostle’s Lutheran Church in Turnersville, NJ.
Her life was marked by her loving and genteel nature. She will be missed by the many who cared so much for this “Special Lady.”
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00 am at Apostle’s Lutheran Church, Turnersville.
