Frances was the NCOIC of the Flight Physicals Clinic at the TMC out at the airfield at Fort Carson back in the early 90’s. She was a great NCO and a good friend. I spent many a weekend at her house with her and Shinae, and their dog Frankie. We always had a lot of laughs. She was Harry the Horrible back then. We lost touch for a while but reconnected about 5 or 6 years ago. I was looking forward to seeing her play a gig at Mt. Gretna in the fall. I will miss you my friend.

Harry, I'm sorry I never made it to any of your shows. I appreciate you inviting me and I'm glad we reconnected after many years. Please say hello to Hoag, I'm sure he was waiting as you crossed over. Thank you for your service and for being a devout patriot who looked out for other veterans! God Bless!

When I first met Frances, it was quickly apparent that she had a big heart and was tremendously talented. She introduced me to The Grand Theater and we were in the band, Voices of Valor and softball together. She loved her craft and was amazing at playing drums. She was passionate about lgbtqi rights and awareness and was encouraging to others. She was a sensitive, caring soul and will be missed. My condolences to her friends and family in this difficult time. You were gone too soon ;

The time we shared was some of the best and most musical in my life. We had our artistic disagreements sometimes, but that didn't stop us from remaining friends. I am sad to see you go. Rest easy, Frances.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the great privilege of working with Harry at our Mt. Gretna Summer Concerts. He did a FANTASTIC job as our drummer and was a genuinely nice human being. We continued to stay in touch as he became Frances. You will be missed. Thanks for some great memories, my friend.

Frances was a U.S. vet having served 20 years before being honorably discharged. In her twenty years she spent time in Africa and Germany. She was highly decorated. When she left the service she resided in Colorado where she enjoyed caring for her German Shepherds. When she moved home, she attended the local college where she graduated on the Principal's List. She enjoyed playing the drums and performed in the local theatre's pit. There was nothing she couldn't do. She was extremely intelligent, researching anything she wanted to know at the library. She was resourceful and wasted nothing. She was a phone call away when you needed her. She thought when she came out, she would receive the love and acceptance she deserved.
