On September 4 ,2025, of Washington Twp. Age 92. Beloved husband of MaryAnn (nee Osinski). Devoted father of Pauline Wynkoop (John Sr.), Patricia Hildebrand (Dennis), Veronica Rahl (Michael), Christopher DiGiacomo (Kelly), Robert DiGiacomo (the late Paula), and David DiGiacomo (Christina). Loving PePop of John, Jr., Joseph, Rachel, Jennifer, Zachary, Justin, Kevin, Gianna, Matthew, Jennarose, Isabella, Cierra, and Simone. Loving great-PePop of Caleb, Sophia, Olivia, Francesca, Santino, Grant and Carlo. Dear brother of the late Oscar and Egidio. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
MaryAnn was the love his life for 74 years. Fortunato served in the US Army during the Korean War. He loved family gatherings, especially Christmas Eve and along with the 7 fishes. He valued his Italian heritage. Fortunato was committed to his Roman Catholic faith and saying the rosary quite often. He loved sports, especially college basketball and college football. He enjoyed hosting parties especially clam bakes, pig roasts and luau’s with their friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday September 20th 8:30-10:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
