April 28, 1945 - February 26, 2021

Evelyn I. Stewart (nee Haines), on February 26, 2021, of Washington Twp. Age 75. Loving mother of Janet Stewart (Desiree Cancila) and Brian Stewart (Meredith). Devoted grandmother of Ethan and Connor. Dear sister of Larry Haines (Tara). Beloved aunt of Lauren Graner (Ken) and Erin Summerville (Mark). She was also the cherished Gram to Madison, Mackenzie, Logan, Sean, Morgan and Troy. She loved her grandpuppies; Maggie, Max and Billie.

Evelyn’s services will be private for the family during this time. Her life will be remembered and celebrated at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn’s memory may be made to Homeward Bound, 125 County House Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012

I met Evelyn through my best friend Anna Marie. I was in her company over the years at birthday parties and had lunch with her and Anna a few times while they both worked at Rowan. She was a very kind, funny, and entertaining individual and I enjoyed her company each time I saw her. My daughter was a student worker at Rowan with Anna in 2019/2020 and got to know Evelyn very well. In 2017 my daughter and I accompanied a group to Disney World to celebrate the 16th birthday of Anna’s daughter. Evelyn was there as well and she surely did liven up the trip! My daughter and I were very pleased to share a few park days and meals with Evelyn on that trip. She was a lovely person. We are very sorry for your loss.
