I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Estelle. I had the privilege of vacationing with her on a trip to Greece. She was a remarkable lady and at her age when most people are starting to slow down and lose things in life, Estelle had everything. She had great insight, wisdom, wit and charm. She still had her amazing figure and above all she had class! She came from the generation that still wrote you hand written birthday cards and letters, personalized thank you cards and phone calls. When I think of Estelle I will think of Estelle the dancer, Estelle the well dressed lady, Estelle the women in fur and pearls. Estelle will always be Old World Manhattan to me! I will miss her! Very happy to be surrounded by friends and family today in saying our final farewells to Estelle. She was a wonderfully vivacious, graceful lady and I feel very lucky to have known her. I will always have fond memories of our visits with Estelle and walking through the neighborhood with her and Victor. She will be sorely missed but certainly never forgotten.

My deepest sympathy to the Manfredi Family. May your memories provide you a measure of comfort. May the God who 2Corinthians 1:3 calls the "God of all comfort", comfort your family at this difficult time of loss.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

"She lived the American Dream" My condolences to her family and friends. I never heard of Estelle Sloan until last October when I purchased her old color slides at a sidewalk sale in Manhattan not knowing whom they belonged to. I being a serious amateur photographer was amazed at the beautiful slides she had taken on her trips and back home with family. I spoke with her on the phone last October but sadly she didn't recall the photos. See them all at this tribute page I just made for her on my website, please visit and leave comments!
