You will be surely missed. You will always be a part of my life. I will continue to think of you each Easter when I make your "ricotta pie" and how could I ever forget the orange juice episode. Love, Peachie

Dear Joann & Family My sympathy in the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of your family & Royal Avenue. I was so pleased when I ran into her at the hairdressers. She was to me the ultimate Lady. Pleasant, kind, warm. My prayers are with you Pam Palazzo

Cathy Welsh left a message on August 16, 2012:
Joann and Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Being one of the Marshall Girls, I feel really blessed that your Mother was in our life for so many years. She was always there for us at all of our big events, graduations, weddings, christenings, etc. Vera was family to us. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed, but I will forever see her sitting in our old dining room in Pennsauken on a Saturday night with your father, and my parents playing penny poker, and all the while, your Mom was sleeping, and winning while she was sleeping. Just some of the good memories that I have of your Mom. She was a great lady. God Bless.

I spent every Wednesday at Virtua, Information Desk with Vera. I enjoyed every minute with her, listening to stories about her family who she loved dearly. I will miss her.
