ELIZABETH D’ESPOSTIO (nee Pologruto), age 97, peacefully passed away on April 8, 2014. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Raymond D’Esposito, a son Don D’Esposito, daughter-in-law Connie D’Esposito and siblings Peter, Edward & Guido Pologruto, and Sylvia Condo. She is survived by son Raymond D’Esposito Jr of Chews Landing, NJ, daughter Linda (Doug) Forry of Hot Springs Village, AR, daughter-in-law Sue D’Esposito of Springfield, PA, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Residing in Pitman Manor, Pitman, NJ for the past 6 years, Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia in 1916. Resided in Prospect Park, Pa until moving to West View Shores, Earleville, MD in 1978. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Cecilton, Md. where she was an organist and member of the hand bell choir. She enjoyed music, gardening, reading mystery books, doing crossword puzzles and most of all she cherished spending time with her family. She delighted in making the holidays special for her family. Her 50th anniversary cruise on the QE2 with dad was one of her favorite memories.
Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be offered to Pitman Manor, 535 N. Oak Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071 Attn: Pamela Piccone.
