On December 12, 2009 of Washington Twp. Age 93. Beloved husband of Margaret K. nee McCarty. Devoted father of Kathryn C. BehmKurt, Gerard P.Margie, and the late Edward J. Hudak, Jr. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Trystan, Gerard, Jr., Pamela and Megan.

Ed proudly served his country in WWII. He was a long time resident of Washington Twp and a member of the Knights of Columbus St. John Neumann council #2032.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church 500 Greentree Rd., Glassboro. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 pm. Entombment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Edward J. Hudak Jr. Scholarship Fund”, c/o The Office of Disability Services at Gloucester County Special Services School District, 1340 Tanyard Rd., Sewell NJ 08080.

You are the most honorable and true man I have ever known. We will love you and miss you always. Rest now, Pop Pop.

We lived right around the corner from Uncle Eddie and Aunt Marge in Turnersville. I remember walking with Grandmom to go visit and always loved when Uncle Eddie would play the piano/organ for us! Pop Pop, I am so sad you are gone, but I know you are in a better place. The things you have done in your life are truly admirable. I will miss your old war stories and will miss seeing your love for my Nana, or as you referred to her "my bride." We will take care of her for you. I love you!

I am a Eucharistic Minister at Sts. Peter and Paul Church and I had the blessing of bringing communion to Mr. and Mrs. Hudak. I was struck by their love of the Lord and the love of each other. I thank God He allowed me to serve such a loving couple. You are all in my prayers. God bless you all.
