Edmund Lloyd Mikle, passed away on July 30, 2013 after a long battle with lung cancer. Predeceased by his mother and father Anna and Charles Mikle, brother Charles and sister Joan Hoffman. Also pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years, Eileen Mae (Lamont). Survived by his daughter, Diana Archer and grandson Kyle Archer.

Ed was a loyal fun loving friend, supportive loving father, and caring husband. He lived life always putting other’s needs in front of his own. He was respected as a Guidance Director for both Lower Camden County Schools and Overbrook High School for over 38 years. He loved his job and talked of his colleagues/friends at work often. He was known for his extensive knowledge of history and always held captive an audience with his stories. His grandson will forever remember him as his Ba Ba who brought him donuts when he was sick. His daughter will forever miss his calm reasoning and advice. Life will not be the same without his smile and laughter.

Friends and family are invited to visit with the family Sunday 4:00 – 5:00 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Life Remembrance 5:00 pm. Friends and Family are welcome to continue on in his celebration of life at PJ ‘s. The celebration will feature cash bar and hors d’ oeuvres. Guests are invited to bring a memory of Ed to share.
