On January 18, 2013 of Newfield, NJ. Age 67. Beloved husband of Marie (nee McTighe). Devoted father of Lisa Wade (Robert), Albert, David (Lisa) and Donna Grebloski. Loving grandfather of Richard, Matthew, David, Jr. and Chase.
Don was born on 11-11-45 at St. Agnus hospital in Philadelphia and attended Roman Catholic high school. He graduated in 1963 and met his soon to be wife in June 1964. Soon after, he joined the army reserves and then switched to the air force. While in the service he married the love of his life Marie on October 22, 1966. He had his first child Lisa in April of 1968. In 1970 he was honorably, discharged, and started working for Cutler Sign Company. In 1972 two sons were born Albert and David and soon to follow in 1973 was a daughter Donna.
Don always had a passion for fixing cars, so he opened Don’s Auto Repair, specializing in VW’s. He had his garage for 10 years and then decided to go back to the sign industry and finally retired in Nov. 2007, He was 62. During his retirement he did all the things he loved like fishing, shooting pool, darts and bowling. There wasn’t a party or barbeque were you wouldn’t find him playing cards or horseshoes for a dollar. He also had four grandsons and a grand-daughter on the way. He will truly be missed; He was a loving Husband, Dad, and Grandpop.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 10:15 am-12:15 pm at Mary Mother of Mercy Parish, 500 Greentree Rd., Glassboro, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Donald’s memory may be made to American Heart Associaion, 1 Union St, #301 Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
