Domenic G. Reitano, Sr.
On March 14, 2025 of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Grace (nee Scardigli). Devoted father of Edward Reitano (Kimberly), Domenic Reitano Jr. (Kami), and Christie Reitano. Loving grandfather of Domenic III, Nicholas, Angelo, and Olivia. Dear brother of the late Richard Reitano. Survived by his dear in-laws Vera Angerman (John) and Gregory Scardigli (Kelly). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Domenic began his career as a printer in various companies in Philadelphia. He was an avid sports fan. He loved all Philadelphia teams. His favorite college team was the Penn State Nittany Lions. He truly bled blue and white.
He was obsessed with Disney World and was often referred to by many as “Mr. Disney”.
He loved his God and was a devout Catholic. He was an active member of his church, singing for many years with the Sts. Peter and Paul folk group. He was involved in the Charismatic Renewal for 35 years, where he developed many close relationships. His greatest love was his family; being blessed with 61 years of marriage, 3 wonderful children and 4 beautiful grandchildren, whom he doted over with pride. He especially loved to tease his 2 daughters-in-law, whom he considered daughters. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Thursday, March 20th 8:30 – 10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 352 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
