I remember when Chrissy had broken up with an old boyfriend, and I came over to cheer her up, and Mrs. Mancini came into the room and bought us a plate of cookies, and said: "This will make you feel better"! She always impressed me with acknowledging her kids' emotions. She didn't just dismiss them. She always expressed concern and showed such empathy! She was a wonderful mom!

You will be missed. You have left your beautiful mark on this world! Thank you for the fun times at your home during my childhood! You always made me feel so welcomed. You always served the best food and offered it with a warm inviting smile. You always listened to our childhood dramas and let us feel our emotions without dismissing them, and then provided encouragement! I learned a lot from you, Mrs. Mancini! I will never forget your kindness! Rest in Peace! Cheryl Peltekis
