Diane M. McIntyre (nee DeVito), on October 13, 2021, of Washington Twp. Age 67. Beloved wife of Michael H. McIntyre. Devoted mother of Michael P. McIntyre (Mikki), and Matthew McIntyre (Alaina). Loving Nana of Rocco, James, Luke, Ellie, and Julian. Dear sister of Mary O’Brien, Alfred DeVito, and Joseph DeVito. Loved by nieces and nephews.
“Diane was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Mitch, and happily married for 43 years. Her boys Michael and Matthew were the light of her life. Diane’s grandchildren Rocco, James, Luke, Ellie, and Julian were her greatest treasures – five of the luckiest kids in the world to have the privilege of calling her Nana.
Diane literally lit up every room, and made every person she met feel special. Although only a mother of two, Diane became a “second mom” to so many. “Mrs. Mac” was always there with her beautiful smile, great advice, and genuine concern for everyone she knew.
Diane had such a zest for life and thirst for travel. Whether it was traveling with Mitch, her sister Mary, or her whole family, every trip was a great adventure. Of all the wonderful places she’s been, being down the shore in Wildwood with the loves of her life, was her most favorite place to be.
After working for 22 years in the Washington Township School District, with coworkers who quickly became lifelong friends, Diane retired and spent her time doing what she loved most, spending time with her family, and her fur baby Maisy.
There are no words to express the enormity of our loss, but we find comfort in Diane’s unwavering faith in God, and are certain we now have the most special guardian angel watching over us.”
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s memory to the American Cancer Society, Camden County Chapter, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
