Diane M. Lawler (nee Hinkley) On July 20, 2018 of Williamstown. Age 80. Beloved wife of Malcolm. Devoted mother of David B. (Suzanne) and Marjorie C. Lawler-Moser (the late John). Loving daughter of the late Arthur D. and Winifred (nee Andrews) Hinkley. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Kirstyn, Megan, Ashley and Malcolm. Dear sister of the late Jacqueline Connelly.
Diane was at peace and surrounded by love when she went home to be with the Lord. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, brownie, girl scout, cub scout and boy scout leader for her children as they were growing up. She and Malcolm supported all their children’s interests as well as her grandchildren’s from bowling to horse shows. She took great pride in her family. Diane would go out of her way to thank every veteran she met for their service. There was never a problem too big that she didn’t try to help solve with her gentle kindness and motherly advice. She greeted everyone with a smile and a friendly hello, you could never forget her smile. She was the loving wife of Malcolm for almost 62 years, a love that started in high school and will continue for eternity.
