Harland, Diane nee Fanticola, on September 19, 2011, of Washington Township, surrounded by her family and friends. Age 59.

Loving daughter of Lynn Kopchinski. Devoted mother of Jennifer Harland and John Harland Kate. Dear sister of Steven Rina, Karen Magill Marc and Michael. Also survived by several nieces and loving friends.

Diane enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking trips down the shore, completing puzzles, having fun meeting new people, and just enjoying life. She was an active member of LON Ladies of the Night. Diane also supported and helped with Washington Township High School athletics and marching band. She was a remarkable woman filled with boundless energy which will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday evening 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday morning 9:15 to 10:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.

Funeral Mass Saturday 11:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Township.

Interment private at the request of the family.

To the Hardland Family, Diane was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. I have been doing her hair for years now and she was more then a client, she was a friend. I loved her and i loved hearing about her trips to the shore and her family. She will be greatly missed not only by me but the whole salon. Dear Jen, John, Kate & Diane's family and friends, We were thrilled when Diane came into our lives. She was ALWAYS a ray of sunshine. We will treasure the time we were able to be with her, and all of you, these last few weeks. Kyle and Evan knew she was close by for support! Cameron always had a special bond with Diane and now we know why-they shared the same birthday something we just recently learned! Haley will miss stopping in the 9/10 office to see HER Cousin Di! Carmen will miss harassing Diane, the ever present timekeeper, at all the WT track events! Chris will miss Diane for her understanding and support and the hugs when they were so badly needed. Jen and John, Your mother was a dear friend and she will be missed! She always had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs!!! I will treasure the times we shared... Please find comfort knowing how loved your mother was!!! The high school will not be the same without her! Lizzie was looking at pictures of her tonight and said, "Mommy, I love Ms. Diane!" Dear Jen and family, I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow that you're going through but I hope that you're consoled by your mother's legacy. She was such a wonderful person and I'll always remember her friendly personality. She was such a great band parent to all of us and she was an even more wonderful mom to you. We will cherish the memories of a joyful mother of the groom, Diane, at last summer's wedding here in Napa Valley of her John and our Kate. Diane was the sweetest most wonderful person I have ever met. Everyday that I walked into the office at WTHS she managed to bring a smile to my face no matter what the situation. I am honored to have had her in my life and my deepest sympathies go out to her family.

Jennifer and John, I just read of your mom's passing in an article about Team Twp. in the local paper. I am so very sorry! Your mom was a lovely lady who always had a smile and a funny story. We would meet often in Bottino's and talk about our "children". The strange thing is I was thinking of her last week as I walked through that store. I had no idea she had left us. To the Harland Family: I just read in the paper about the loss of your mother. It brought tears to my eyes. I met Diane when my daughter joined marching band and within a month I was helping out with the uniforms. I also chatted with Diane in the 9-10 office. She had a great energy about her and will surely be missed. RIP my friend.

So sorry to hear about Diane. I knew her as a WTHS student and as a sub, and she was always so warm, friendly, welcoming, and funny. My deepest condolences to the family, she will be sorely missed.
