Deidre D. Sciacca, on February 13, 2012, of Erial. Age 54. Devoted mother of Joseph M.Sciacca, III, Danielle Arnold Dale and Anthony Sciacca. Dear sister of Clarence Dean. Loving grandmother of Taylor, Harley, Codie and Dale, Jr.
Deidre was a caring nurse at Camden County Health Services Center retiring after 30 years of service. She proudly served as president of AFSCME Local 71.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am. Interment private.

The family has my condolences. Dee was such a powerful advocate for her members. I recall at the last ralley at Camden County Health Services Center, one of Dee's co-workers was in need of representation and Dee walked right across the road into the building and gave some of the best representation that could be given. A strong leader which will be missed.

I consider myself one of the lucky ones b/c I got a chance to know and love your mom as if she were my "other" mother. There will never be another woman like her! She was loud, hilarious, caring and gentle behind all that tough exterior. I have so many memories of her that I will forever cherish. Though I hate knowing I won't be able to hug her or hear her yell at me anymore I am grateful that she is not suffering. So sleep sweet Dee and drift away on the whisper of Angels wings but do be sure to save some space on your cloud for all of us cuz we WILL meet again one day!

Dee was one of the strongest and determined people I ever knew. No fear of a challenge. As I was sitting in the funeral home this morning I realized how many lives she touched. I wonder If even Dee knew exactly how much she was loved and respected.She was a fighter and we will certainly continue that fight for her. She will be sorely missed and I think she would have been very proud of her children today.Her family was her first and foremost love.
