Dan, we may not have seen eye to eye, but I still looked upon you as a close friend. You always were there to light up my mood when I was down and you always made me smile with your goofy ways. You and I shared alot in music, both into Johnny Cash and all. You more than I. I'm glad That we had a wonderful night together with the four of us before you went. We always said we have known each other since kinder-garden yet I can't remember that far back. But we have known each other for most of our lives and now only in our hearts, dreams and every time we crack a beer. We had our good times and our bad. We had our time apart but in the end we always came back to each other. I remember the time we went up to Canada for the PT Cruiser show and by the end of that trip we wanted to kill each other. Their is so much more to say but I will save that for another time. We Love You Dan but before you go I am reminding you to take out the trash.

Dan and I have been close since I was 15. He and I had intellectual conversations about reincarnation and nature. He said he wanted to come back to the earth as a tree. Everytime I see a tree I will think of him. He always made me laugh & sometimes made me cry too...but he would hug me the best hugs. He loved poetry & used to love when I wrote poems for him. I even wrote one for him when his dog Muffin passed. Now he is with Muffin. I bet he is so happy to be with her. I miss and love Dan so much. Nothing can erase the hurt I feel now.

We had many good times together, from working together to hanging out, I will never forget you. R.I.P. Bro God Bless

Dan its taken me more then a year to write down how much you meant to me. And still cant think of the right words. You were one of my best friends. In the last few yrs before your death i begged you to stop. the last time i saw you i couldn't believe my eyes on just how bad things got for. I met you daughter a few months back and couldn't get over just how much she looked like you. I still cant get over your passing. i miss you Dan. i wish things never got so bad. i wish i could have just told you to stop one last time maybe it would have saved you. Ill keep watch on Gwen to make sure she always knows who you are. Rest easy bro.

Dear Dan, I love you. We havent known each other long yet we captured each others' hearts. We both know how we instantly fell in love. I can't believe you're gone. You gave me the best gift I could ask for. It feels like we lost out big time but we’re really lucky baby. Everything we've built will be so beautiful. You really do inspire me. Everyone sees how much we loved each other. Honestly baby I haven't dared to think about these final words to you, but I’m heading to Cape May with my mom and sister. I anticipate finding you on the beach, in the sunset. We finally get to go together since we missed it all last summer.
