On May 20, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 64. Loving companion of Paulette Noyes. Father of Daniel Kerney, Jr. (Thuy), Caitlin Kerney, Kristopher Noyes (Melisa), Allison Delaney (Steven), and Joseph Noyes. Grandfather of Nathan, Mia, Cordelia, Layla, Hazel, and Dylan. Brother of Leonard L. Kerney, Jr. and Patricia K. Kerney. Predeceased by his parents Leonard Kerney, Sr. and Patricia A. (nee Kinney)

After graduating from high school at Paul Vi, Dan joined the Marine Corps He was definitely one of the few and proud. Dan was dedicated to the vows he took as a US Marine, He gave all he had to the Corps serving his country for 4 tours of duty all over the world.

He earned many service medals including expert sharp shooter. He had a dream and in being sent to all parts of the world fulfilled it. His survival of the situation in Beirut 10/23/83, however it stayed with him forever.

He was a faithful partner and friend to many, especially to his fellow service men and women who he always would seek out to meet no matter where he was. Once a marine always a Marine was daily motto.

To honor his memory consider a donation to his favorite charities Toys for Tots, the USO and Wounded Veterans.

A Celebration his life will be held for family and friends 06/22/2024 at his home. A private burial to be secured in a place of rest for Veterans has yet to be determined.
