Daniel E. Soboloski, on August 31, 2016, of Washington Twp. Age 64. Beloved father of Michelle Westenberger (Jason), Dan and Eric. Loving grandfather of Jase. Dear brother of Bette Palermo (the late Frank), Joe Soboloski (Gail), Debbie Jones (Doug) and Stephen Soboloski. Also survived by 31 loving nieces and nephews and the mother of his children Esther Negron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 12:00 PM. Interment private.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank Daniel Soboloski for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of Danny will be broadcast to our 3,570 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

To Danny's entire Family - it is so hard to put into words what he meant to all of us who loved him with all of our hearts. When he was assigned to the 6th District in Philadelphia, little did we know a friendship almost as close as family had started that day and would last forever. All the jobs on the streets, your devotion to Danny Faulkner's family through the years.....the trips on the back bays of Atlantic City for flounder. So many good times on the Highroller out of Atlantic City & in Sea Isle.....Danny, Danny, Danny - you are one in a million & always will be. Anyone who was lucky enough to have you as a friend knows that.
All the laughs, the good times and fun will be the memories we hold in our hearts forever. The hard times we will never understand but you toughed it out with your family's love. We are so deeply sorry and will hold your beloved Dad in our hearts forever.

So very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I had the pleasure of playing softball with Dan in the Industrial C League. It seems like a hundred years ago but I have very fond memories of him and his big heart. My brother was a Philadelphia Police Officer killed in the line of duty in 1975 and Danny's kind words helped me deal with that terrible time. I've often thought about him over the years and will continue to do so because that's what you do when good people touch your lives in a special way. From Larry Trumbette
