Suzy, Oh, how he loved you and your "fuzzy children". He enjoyed his time with you, no matter where you went. He would tell me about your adventures and how much he enjoyed them. I will always cherish the trip the 4 of us took to Chicago. So many great memories of that weekend. The cars were our outlet, but we spoke about so much more. His eye for things that were "right" was second to none. He did his research the way he did everything, to the last detail. If he had his hand in something, it was always done 100%, with no corners cut, and no detail left unturned. We shared our love of original, unrestored cars, and enjoyed keeping them that way. I will always remember the trips that he and I took chasing down various cars, often coming back empty handed, and the late nights out in his shop working on some of them. Some people thought we were nuts. Danny was an incredibly talented and giving person and touched so many lives. He was so great to my girls, and they loved him so much. He was extremely well spoken, self taught, and could do almost anything. He was always there to help with a project, usually taking the lead, and finishing it through to the end. Danny, I will miss the "Yo Don" phone calls late at night, and trying to "solve all of the world's problems". Buddy, sometimes things just aren't fair, and this is one of those times. God speed my friend, until we meet again. I will miss you forever.

My Dear Susan, How can one begin to sum up the past 23 years we spent as friends and neighbors. So many memories from dinners together at our homes, to NewYears Eves shared, roaring fires outside, our shared passion for so many things from fine wines, cars, to custom carpentry work in our homes that Danny took his unselfish to teach me. He gave of his many talents and passions so willingly and of which he had so many. A true zest and love of his life, family, and mostly his beloved wife Susan. Words cannot express how much I admired , respected , appreciated all he was as a man. He will truly be deeply missed in so many ways. Those of us who knew him closely know that some one like Danny was a one of a kind person. My sincere heartfelt condolences to Susan and the entire Deuter family.
