Dear John and Family,
Please accept our sincere apology for not acknowledging the passing of your dear wife and your children’s mother for this length of time.
For one reason or another we were not aware of her passing which is extremely regrettable.
However we do want to ,at this late time ,to express our deep sadness and our condolences for the loss of your loved one.
We know with your deep religious values she will live on in your memory.
May our prayers and thoughts be with you.

Even though it has been a long time since I moved away from the area I would think of Cindy and John now and then and today I decided to try to reconnect and visit when I come North this summer. How saddened I was to see this obit pop up when I googled her name. This is a beautiful obituary and it describes Cindy exactly how We remember her. My deepest condolences however so late to John, kids, and grandkids. I know you all gave her such joy. With love, Yvonne (Toppi) and Tom Mackin

Mom,
You were a woman like no other. Thank you for being the best mom to me and grandmom to Marlaina and for welcoming Kyle into our family the way that you did. I will never forget the things you taught me and how loved you made me feel. I’ll miss our early morning talks, I’ll miss watching Hallmark movies with you, I will miss YOU. Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure. Mom, you will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed. Until I see you again…I LOVE YOU XOXOXO

Mom, I’ve been wanting to call you every day. We had so much more to talk about. You were an amazing woman, an extraordinary mother, and a wonderful grandmother. We’re all so grateful for you – for you teaching and showing us how to be good people, for the faith you instilled in each of us, and for the undeniable love and care that you gave to us every single day of your life. Thank you. We will miss your phone calls, your texts, your birthday cards, your surprise visits, your holiday meals, and, most importantly, your beautiful face. Our hearts are broken, but one thing is very clear to us – God was building His army when he took you. We hope you are smiling over us. Until we meet again…. We love you! XOXO

John, Stephanie, Cara, Denise, John and your beloved families,
Our hearts are with you at this sorrowful time. I always looked up to and admired my dear cousin, Cindy. When she lived with Grandmom and worked in Philly and was dating John, I thought she was so sophisticated! Among her many talents and gifts (learning, creating, teaching, cooking and so much more), I admired most her gift of hospitality. She welcomed all into her home and heart, and when you were with her she made you feel like the most important part of God's creation. Her life was a gift to her family and the world.
We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Mrs. Contino adored her family and they adored her. We hope that you all can find peace in knowing what a fighter she was throughout her life. May God bless you and give you strength.
Marlaina, I truly don't have enough words to comfort your heart at this time. Just know that I can understand how it feels to lose a loving Grandmother. I pray God will give you peace during this time. Continue to shine bright like a light and make your "Gram" proud of you.
Love you lots!!!

Thank you for being such a wonderful role model. We truly miss you. We will never heal. We will think of how special you are to us everyday until we see you again. We love you so much. xxxooo
