Charles Victor Scarano

On June 22, 2024, of Washington Twp.  Age 86.  Beloved husband of the late Jane (nee Skare).  Devoted father of Tracy Massenza (John), Amy Fiordaliso (Mike), and Lori Ligatti (Rocky), and the late Susan Leotta.  Loving grandfather of Sean, Brandon (Liz), Dominique (Michael), Charlie, Gia, Lea, and Jayna.  Proud great-grandfather of Jaxon and Lainey. Dear brother of Phyllis Stalter.

Charles “Chuck” Scarano was born and raised in Philadelphia and later moved to Audubon,NJ. He graduated from Audubon High School and went on to attend college at Temple University. He began his career as a high school teacher and coach but later became a realtor. During his career in real estate, Chuck went on to open his own brokerage firm and became a staple in Washington Township. Chuck took immense pride in being the sole provider for his family and carried a strong work ethic. He was one who demanded respect. In his presence his family and even strangers knew to sit up a little straighter, talk a little softer, and stand for what you believe in. He loved sports especially college basketball. For years he enjoyed going to the men’s club on Friday nights to shoot pool and play shuffleboard. Chuck enjoyed spending summer days at his shore house with his family and friends. His words of wisdom and the example he set will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 9:00 – 10:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Funeral Service 10:30 am. Interment will be private for family.

In honor of Charles’ life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, his family would encourage any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
