Charles J. Militti
On March 6, 2022, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Vignola). Loving father of Shannon Whalen (Ken), Charles J. Militti, Jr. (Vanessa) and Mark Militti (Patty). Devoted grandfather of Alyssa Whalen, Kennedy Whalen, Amber Militti, Charleigh Militti, Sean Militti and Joshua Militti. Cherished great-grandfather of Addison Kahlich. He was the youngest of 10 siblings.
Charles was a kind, generous, funny and loved man, who lived life on his own terms. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling the world. He had a long career in retail beginning at W.T. Grant, where he met his wife Dolores. Charles and Dolores were married for over 53 years and did everything together. He continued his career as a Regional Manager for Eckerd drug and eventually opened his own business. He was retired for almost 20 years and enjoyed every moment.
He was very proud of his many collections; an extensive coin collection, Hess trucks dating back to 1970, replica lighthouses and boats, as well as Department 56 houses displayed throughout his home. In recent years, he suffered from declining health but was always a fighter and was able to overcome the many challenges he faced. Throughout everything, he always maintained a positive attitude and kept a smile on his face, while still putting smiles on the faces of others. He was loved and respected by his family and friends who will miss him very much.
