Charles “Chuck” or “Cholly” F. White, on June 22, 2015, of Washington Twp., NJ Age 76. Born March 6, 1939. Graduated from Fr. Judge High School in 1957. Served proudly in the US Army from 1961-1963. He worked 40 years for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News as a Typesetter in the printing department. He shared his love for baseball with his mom, both were Phillies fans. He was a Notre Dame football fan. What he enjoyed most was playing golf with friends. He was a Big Band music fan. Cholly loved sweets, give him cake, pie or cookies instead of a meal and he was happy. Proud to be Irish and always looking for the nearest pub. Most in his life he loved his dog, Mick. From the day he got him, a Golden Retriever, the rest of us took a back seat. Wherever he went he talked about Mick. Husband of Bernice E. (nee Peters) Ford-White. Father of Catherine Lawrence (Richard), Colleen, Thomas and Michael White. Step-children. Brother of Frances Hughes, Thomas, Elizabeth Gross, Joan Amato, Margaret Gibbs and Sarah Marbach. 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. He is lucky to have family and friends who will miss him and we will all have Cholly stories. He was a real character and always did things his way.
