Catherine S. Sorban (nee Sroczyk), on March 2, 2016, of Washington Twp. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Devoted mother of Theresa Ramsey (David), Mary Ann Thornley (Colin), Katherine Teasley (Ronzel), Veronica Sorban and Alicia Senner (Larry). Loving grandmother of Theresa (David), Gail, Tristan (Angie) and Jack (Evie). Proud-great-grandmother of Jack, Jacob, McKenna and Sawyer.

Catherine was born and grew up in Philadelphia. After her father passed away, she left ninth grade to begin working in the garment industry. During WWII, she met her husband Raymond when they both worked for a company manufacturing steel containers.

In her last years, she enjoyed lunch with her friends and bingo at the senior center, especially when she was winning. She spent time watching the birds outside and talking to her parakeets. She spoiled her beloved cocker spaniel Misty, even when she ate the vegetables in the garden. And most of all, she loved visiting with her great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday 9:00-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
