Carmen Suarez,
On December 9, 2015, of Sicklerville. Age 83. Beloved wife of the late Angelo. Devoted mother of Angelo L. (Georgina), Roberto, and David Suarez (Luz). Loving grandmother of David, Jr. Dear sister of Antonio Gonzalez and Manuel Gonzalez in Puerto Rico). She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Carmen Aida Suarez was born on July 14, 1932 to Juan and Dorotea Gonzalez in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. She was a hard-working daughter, wife and mother. Carmen moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1954. She married Angelo Fernando Suarez in 1955, and had three beautiful gifts in sons – Angelo, Roberto and David. Carmen was known for her love of God, storytelling and her love for watching movies. She was a champ at playing dominoes and bingo. She enjoyed her weekly visits to the Senior Citizens Day Center in Blackwood, NJ, where she learned to create beautiful flower arrangements and ceramics. Carmen loved to cook for family and was known for her famous pasteles twice a year. Carmen fell asleep in death on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the age of 83. She is survived by her three sons, Angelo (Georgina), Roberto and David (Luz), her grandson, David, Jr., two brothers, Antonio and Manuel. She is also remembered by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 7:00 – 9:00 PM and Saturday 9:15 – 10:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment private.
