What I remember most about Tia Carmen, is her warm and loving heart. Ever since I can remember she always greeted me with a smile and warm hug. Her words always comforting, I will treasure them especially those she said to me after my husband's death. I could tell she loved me and knew me well. I saw Carmen Suarez, as an intelligent, independent woman who loved her boys more than anything, and also loved God in a sincere way. She often spoke to me about Jehovah. To me she was a special gentle woman, a role model in my life and as a child I loved being around her. I will miss her dearly, she will always be in my heart. With love and a sad heart your cousin, Jacqueline Lugo.

I remember what joy we shared on Doña Carmen's 70th birthday. On our trip to the Sight and Sound Theaters to see Daniel. She made the best chicken soup, and Doña Carmen will forever be in my heart. Love, Tita
