Poppy is a both a role model and a man that I couldn’t ask for to be a better grandfather. I’m going to miss so many memories that I had with him. I will always remember the many baseball games we went to together (Phillies, Orioles, and Riversharks) and even going to the baseball hall of fame in cooperstown and double day field. I will also never forget your history buff stuff you would always watch on TV, going to the battleship, and visiting Washington DC. And my most favorite memory of all, my “best vacation ever” (even better than Disney World) when we went to Smithville. He was a man of few words much like myself and we were so much alike. I will always love, remember, appreciate the time I spent with you. May you forever rest in peace.

Carl Grande (Poppy) was the best grandfather that a guy could ask for. He spent so much time with me taking me to baseball games and on trips like staying on the Battleship NJ overnight. He will be missed forever.
