I grew up across the street from the Lavin family. Brian and I worked at Murphy’s Deli back in the day. Brian was a kind soul, a hard worker and a good friend. H was maybe 2-3 years younger than me but grew up in a similar large Irish Catholic family. A funny story. My Dad complained in an Irish way that Mr. Lavin was “using the same names” he wanted for his sons; but that didn’t stop Dad from naming my younger brother Brian. The Lavins, living next to the DeSimone’s, were always the quiet best people…❤️

Bill Abrams left a message on April 30, 2013:
To Frank and the entire Lavin Family, I'm sorry I never got to meet your father and tell him what a fine young man he has raised. Some of my best memories are working with Frank and watching him develop from a boy to a man. I know he will be watching down on you and your siblings and he will certainly be proud of the adults you have all become. He must have been a really good man to raise such fine children. I can see how much you love your father every time you speak of him by the expression on your face. I could only hope my children will look up to me the way you look up to him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bill Abrams and Family
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
