I just learned of Skip's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Skip was a dear friend from the gym who was my role model for staying in shape. He spoke often and fondly of his family. I had the pleasure of hearing about all your achievements over the years. He was so proud of you all. As a fellow southerner we shared many favorite foods. He always bragged about Mary's cooking. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially me. His friend, Bobbie

Glenn and family, My sincere condolences on the your loss. Bonnie was a great guy and was my mentor when I started my programming career. I have many fond memories of Bonnie, especially our card games at the Gateway. He was always fun to be around and a true gentleman! May he rest in peace.

Great memory that we all reminisced about tonight at my grandfather’s visitation... Skip was teaching me and my friend Ryan from across the street, how to cast out a fishing rod. We already knew how, but he made us a special practicing rod with a specific practice lure to use safely outdoors. I cast one try across the street from our driveway to Ryan’s, and it got stuck in a tree. Seconds later a school bus comes barreling down the street and drives right through our line that’s going from one side of the street to the other lol. It yanks the pole right out of my hand and drags it down the street. The practice lure however, gets stuck in the tree; Ryan and I were unable to find it. Skip got up on a ladder the next day and was able to get it out of there. Fast forward about 20 something years to today, as we honor Skip’s life after his passing. What is it that Ryan and I both just noticed? The exact rod and practice lure are both leaned up against the table with the rest of Skip’s favorite belongings that best describe who he was... simply unreal!
