Barbara A. May (nee Getchius), on November 5, 2021, of Washington Twp. Age 62. Beloved wife of Ken May. Loving mother of Mickel DeNino and Deanna Delfing (Paul). Cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn Delfing, Madisyn DeNino, Giana DeNino, Mickel DeNino, Jr. and Kylee Delfing. Dear sister of Ed Collett, Nancy Monguso, Robert Getchius, Roy Getchius (Chris) and Debbie Getchius. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

In her spare time, Barbara loved spending time with her family, playing O’Dublin, and reading.

Barbara opted to donate her body to Sidney Kimmel Medical College for medical research. At this time her family will honor and remember her privately.

To the family and friends of Barbara, sincere condolences and prayers. I’m sure up to the end, she has the same fight and go spirit as she had about 50 years ago when we first met. Though we’re never truly ready to lose our loved ones, my conciliation is the fact she’s no longer in pain and I do believe she’ll be welcome above by those we’ve lost before her.
