Barbara Ann Calogero
Mrs. Barbara Ann Calogero, born October 22, 1944, daughter of Frank and Agnes Felici, lived a long life of love and dedication. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died in Washington Township, New Jersey. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and husband George Calogero, and is survived by her brother Frank Felici, son Michael Calogero, daughter Kim Elliott, along with grandchildren Dylan Elliott and Brianna Elliott. Barbara married George Mario Calogero on July 2nd of 1966. Barbara enjoyed traveling, baking, gardening, and especially spending time with family and close friends. She was a parishioner of Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish.
Barbara’s medical career began upon her graduation from Temple University’s Nursing program in 1966. As a registered nurse, her medical career would span decades and involve work in a private practice focused in cardiology. She later transitioned to a devoted career with the Red Cross managing blood donation sites throughout the PA/NJ region.
Surrounded by loving family, Barbara peacefully passed in her sleep in the early morning hours of December 4th, 2021. Her loss will be felt by those who loved her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
