It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bailey Lenney, 27, of Malaga. Bailey passed away far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
Born with a big heart and an even bigger presence, Bailey grew into a man whose warmth, kindness, and joy touched countless lives. Standing tall in both stature and spirit, he carried himself with strength and grace, yet always made space for others to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Bailey was known for lighting up every room he entered. His laughter was contagious, his smile unforgettable, and his ability to draw people together unmatched. He leaves behind a wide circle of friends who consider him a brother and a constant source of encouragement and joy. More than anything, Bailey had a gift for connecting with people, especially children. His kind heart and gentle spirit made him a role model to many.
A gifted athlete, Bailey proudly played Division I football at Alabama A&M, where his determination and dedication shone both on and off the field. But beyond his athletic achievements, it was his loyalty to his family and friends that defined him most.
Bailey’s family was his anchor — he adored his parents, cherished his two sisters, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first nephew, ready to embrace his new role as an uncle with the same devotion he brought to every relationship. His presence filled their lives with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Services to celebrate Bailey’s life will be held on Saturday 8:30 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Since Bailey’s love of football started as a youth playing for Glassboro, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his honor to the boy’s and girls club (gcbgc.org) so we can honor both his love of football and children.
