Anthony “Tony” DeJoseph

On December 6, 2022 of Washington Twp.  Age 56.  Beloved husband of Veronica (nee Scott).  Devoted father of Nikki DeJoseph (Michael Horn), Daria DeJoseph, and Ryan DeJoseph (Amy Colligan).  Loving grandfather of Michael, Zachary, and Bailey.  Dear brother of Donald (Taisha), Paul (Mary), Ken (Kimi), and Dean DeJoseph (Tracey).

Tony, also known as “Tubby” by close friends and family, left a legacy to be admired. He met the love of his life, Veronica, and had 3 children; Nikki, Daria, and Ryan. Tony loved being a dad and was a really great one. He devoted all his time teaching them how to throw the perfect spiral, catch a pop-up, and how to be a good teammate in all areas of life. He was so amazing at this that he decided to continue on and teach other children the fundamentals. Tony coached for the Washington Township Minutemen youth football league for 15 years, as well as up and coming baseball catchers. He was a determined, competitive, and passionate person whose traits trickled down, not only to his kids and grandkids, but to many kids in Washington Township. Tony will be missed on the deepest level by so many and his legacy will be carried on by those who loved and respected him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp.  At 8:00 PM there will be a time of Sharing Thoughts, memories, prayers, and love offered by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony’s memory may be made to Washington Twp. Youth Football Association, PO Box 1106, Turnersville, NJ 08012.
