Anthony J. Frangelli, Jr.

Of Turnersville, NJ passed away on October 18, 2025.  Age 87.

Tony was born on April 1st, 1938, on April Fool’s Day in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a talented cake decorator, baker and the owner of Frangelli’s Bakery, which was previously owned by his father Anthony, Sr.  A family-owned business that has been servicing the South Philly neighborhood for 78 years.

Tony was a faithful church goer.  He was a Phillie Phanatic and avid bowler since his teens.  He was enjoying that sport on his last day.

Tony is survived by his loving wife Marlene (nee DiGiovanni), married for 66 years, and his daughter Maria.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. and Friday 8:45-9:45 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Rd., Sicklerville, NJ 08081. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM at the church.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church at the above address.
