Lisa - My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Tony and I go back about 16 years at PwC. He was my colleague, coach and above all my best friend. We talked frequently about work, our family, sports and current events. Tony was humble, easy to approach, always ready to help you and a hard working man. Today is a very sad day for Anthony’s family and friends. Can’t help but get chocked up. For about 25 years we had been golfing buddies. Along with John Levin, aka Parman, Ant (Bogey) and The Muddman ( me), the Annual Golf Tournament (Michael J. Doyle) has been one of the best days of the year for over 20 of those years. We will miss you Bud! RIP.

Sending love and strength to the Cavalier family during this very difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cavalier while hanging out at my best friend Cats house during our high school years… He was like a second dad to me. Mr. Cav was incredibly kind and welcoming even when we didn’t make things easy on him. I’ll share a story to elaborate on the above… It was freshman year and Cat had broken her ankle. This was earth shattering to us Freshman as our first homecoming was right around the corner. We just could not imagine Cat being in a cast and on crutches for the big moment. Cat had mentioned to me that she would be cutting her cast off if her doctor didn’t take it off in time for homecoming— she ensured me that she knew her bones were healed and she could “just feel it.” Being new friends I thought she was a little crazy, but I was of course supportive. The doctors appointment comes and… it’s a no. She was not fully healed to get her cast removed before homecoming. So, she solidifies the plan with me and on the eve before homecoming cuts her cast off in her room. The timing was everything. Mrs. Cavalier was at work, her siblings off at college, and Mr. Cav at home watching a movie downstairs. She invites me over and we figure out how we’re gonna tell her dad. We come downstairs and Cat blurts it out. Her dad looks at her in astonishment jumps up to feel both of her legs, and immediately realizes— Yup, there’s no cast. He runs into the garage, grabs Anthony’s old pair of full leg casts, and tells Cat to pick a color because she’s wearing one to homecoming! Anticipating more backlash, we go up to her room and wait for him to tell us that I need to go home because Cat is grounded for eternity. The next thing we hear is sweet Mr. Cavalier say… “Girls…” followed by our shaky reply of “Yes…?!” “Are you hungry, I’ll order you a pizza!” Even in the most frustrating times, Mr. Cavalier showed kindness. Throughout the remainder of high school, the Cavalier house was my second home. I will never forget your dads pancakes after sleepovers, his cool sports car that drove us home from softball (if it wasn’t your moms mini van), and his leather Pittsburgh Steelers jacket.. a true Mr. Cavalier staple. So very saddened and deepest condolences to the family. We've been friends and neighbors for close to 30 years and have shared much. There are not really any words to express how upset we are nor more importantly to fully know what you are all going thru. I have been Anthony’s neighbor for decades. Every time Anthony drove by in his Mazda, I waved at him knowing he loved driving that car. Anthony and I talked about our grandkids whenever we had the chance. Our grandkids are the same age, so we enjoyed sharing stories, and I know how much joy his grandkids brought to him. Anthony was a wonderful man, full of life and love for his family. I had the pleasure of working with Tony on the PwC Pru team and then as a client on one of Tony's other accounts. As a junior accountant, I am immensely grateful for his infinite patience and humility in explaining complex actuarial topics to me (even when I asked the same question more than once). So sorry to hear about his passing, he will be deeply missed.

Anthony (Bogie) was my friend! Our friendship dated back to our South Philly days and continued as we moved and raised families in Washington Township. We became closer as we coached our daughters travel softball team. We also would play football together on Sunday mornings for years and occasionally just the two of us would throw the football around at the field for hours, to stay in shape and chat about “stuff”. He was a person who you could ALWAYS count on and was always the voice of reason. RIP my good friend. ?

Tony was a good colleague to work with. I enjoyed our talks on the Steelers, grand kids and occasionally politics, besides work . His "classic home office" with Steelers backdrops always made the Zoom calls better. He did enjoy his grandkids immensely and always talked on the weekend plans and visits. His kind words and insights will be sorely missed.

I had the good fortune of having Tony as my actuary on every client from when I was fresh out of college through Director and his patience, willingness to share his knowledge, and ability to make complicated concepts understandable were unprecedented. There was no better resource than being able to call Tony in a panic with a complex, urgent question (usually on a weekend in February) and have him answer “Tony’s Pizza!!” and immediately help you work through an issue. I always looked forward to when he’d be in-person and share pictures and stories about his grandkids with us. It was a pleasure to know him and work with him.

Tony was an accomplished actuary but more importantly, a wonderful person. I truly cherished the time I had working and laughing with him, and consider myself lucky to have known him. To Tony's family - I hope the pain of his loss are softened by loving, warm memories that you will carry with you always.

It was a pleasure working with Tony. He always had a smile on his face and was always so thoughtful and caring to everyone he worked with. Even though I didn't get the opportunity to work with Tony closely, I always heard great things about him. I do not know what words are appropriate to say so the best way to express my condolences might be by sharing a quote "there are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains."

When I first heard of Tony's name, I was still working as an auditor with PwC (not an actuary yet). Another fellow manager always exclaim "Tony is my favorite actuary in PwC!". Later when I made my career switch, I was fortunate to work with Tony for many years on the Pru engagement. He is always so kind, and guided me along with patience as well as the lovingness of a dad who would string me along whenever I needed a little push. Tony also has a brilliant mind and could always catch the little mistakes that both Randy and I fail to catch. He will be dearly missed and working on the Pru engagement will never be the same without Tony. He will be in my prayers.

I would deeply miss working with you. You were always willing to listen, teach, coach or simply have a laugh together. Thank you for always be ready to give your time and word of advise when needed. It was a true pleasure working with you.
