Anna Esposito-Del Vecchio
(nee Batten) Age 90, of South Philadelphia. Died peacefully on January 19, 2021 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore and Louis. Devoted mother of Donna Gallotto (Joe), Dennis J. Esposito (Bernadette), and Maryann Vice (Steven). Loving grandmother of Joey, Jamie (Robin), Michael (Katie), Steven, Jr., and Austin. Proud great-grandmother of Joey, Marco, Nicholas, Andrew, Alanna, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Vincent, Mason, and Christian.
Anna was well loved by all and will be missed dearly. She especially cared about and adored her children, grandsons, and great-grandchildren. Anna was such an excellent cook, she was especially noted for her delicious soups. Whenever there was a family gathering, she always arrived with her delicious rice pudding, which she stirred lovingly. Anna was the life of the party and always made a point of being one of the last to leave. Always impeccably dressed and never missing a day applying her Shiseido cream to her beautiful face. Her beauty not only was on the outside but her heart and soul was just as beautiful. Which brings us to the expression, beautiful inside and out. We will miss her but she will always be in our hearts. Anna left us such beautiful memories of her life and will always be at our side looking over us and smiling.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, January 28, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Monica’s RC Church, 2422 S. 17th St., Philadelphia. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory may be made to Our Ladies Center, 1100 Clematis Ave, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.
