I’ve been thinking about Andrew a lot lately. I still miss him as much as I did in 2015.
I had the pleasure to know Andrew since 6th grade. He was a genuinely sweet and caring soul with a wonderful smile. He cared and wanted to help others and never hesitated to do so. I send prayers of strength and comfort to you. Andrew will be missed!

Andrew was certainly a student I will remember for a long time. He was a gentile, kind, respectful person. A credit to his family and himself. We will all miss Andrew. Condolences to the family.
David and Margie, I am at a loss for words. I can not imagine the pain and heartache you must be feeling. I wish there were words that could make it all better. Though I have never met Andrew I am sure the world will never be the same without him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Andrew was always such a pleasure to have at our school! He enjoyed every moment and was always kind to others. We enjoyed watching him mature physically, emotionally, and academically. His positive attitude toward life always reminded me of why I became an educator. We will miss him deeply.

My heart broke when I heard the news about Andrew. He was the first person in the neighborhood to welcome my daughter when we moved onto the block years ago. He was always very nice & polite and obviously a good friend to all of those around him. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.

David, this note is from your Morris family of Texas. We offer our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy at this time. Your Grandmother Blanche Morris Shenton was our loving Aunt, and Harvey and Fran were our cousins. We are distant cousins but we want you and Margie to know that you have family holding you in our both prayers and thoughts. Peace, Prayers and Blessings from Richard, Mary and Kathy McCartney and Jeannie Kotowski
I wish the Shenton family comfort during this difficult time. Andrew was in my 6th and 7th grade Art classes. He was a pleasure to have in class and always willing to lend a helping hand. Last year, he would come into the art room almost everyday with Dylan during study hall and they would help out around the room. When he finished a job, he would say, "OK Mrs. Akhtar, what can I do next?" Andrew and Dylan also spent many hours volunteering for the Art Show. Anyone who knew him knows that Andrew was such a wonderful kid with the best manners and a kind heart. He will truly be missed! God bless
Dear David and Margie, Our hearts are broken here at Whitman where Andrew spent 3 years of school. I personally knew him well as the school nurse and loved his contagious smile and polite mannerism. He always had kind words to say and was always a happy loving boy that was truly adored by both of you. My love and sympathy reaches out to you as you endure the most painful loss in your life. Please know that the entire Whitman family truly cares for your family and extends our sympathy to you. With love and caring thoughts, Carol Ann Wesh, Whitman Elementary School Nurse
Andrew was my first friend when I moved here. He was my best friend too. We loved to ride bikes and go swimming together. Andrew was always happy and cheerful. He included everyone, and really knew how to be a good friend. He was very loyal and a lot of fun.
Another great thing about Andrew was how helpful he was. He even helped us do our chores and pitched in to help the family when he was over. He was very special to my family and me. We are very, very sad, and will miss him so much. We will never forget Andrew.

David and Margie,
Words cannot express the heartbreak I am feeling over this. Andrew was a genuinely nice person and such a pleasant child. He was a friend to everyone and accepted every child as they were. He never judged.
I have many fond memories of him while at Whitman and he holds a special place in my heart. Teachers remember him as a sweet and kind boy.
My prayers and thoughts are with you. I am hoping you find eventual peace knowing you raised a truly amazing boy.
Fondly,
Sarah (Mottershead) Sacco
We were blessed to have had Andrew to our house several times. He always had a smile and was a good friend to Jared. I wish more kids could be as happy, loving and considerate as Andrew. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
