Amy Morris (nee Curran) passed away on May 22, 2019. A resident of Gibbsboro, Amy grew up in Haddon Township and was a graduate of Haddon Township High School.
Amy is lovingly survived by her son, Damon, sisters Leigh Anne Woffington (Dave), Shahnar and Cassidy McSorley, brothers Brian Huff, Brad and Billy Derevlany, fathers, Raymond Curran and Michael McSorley, and is predeceased by her mother Mary Ann McSorley. She was the cherished granddaughter of Jean and James Smith and Edna and Robert Curran. She was a beloved cousin, niece, aunt, and friend to many.
Amy will always be fondly remembered as a free spirit who would go where the wind carried her. She was adventurous to the core, and a passionate nature and animal lover. Her smile and laugh were contagious; she brightened every room she entered. She loved all things astrological. She loved to spend her nights listening to music and gazing at her beloved moon. She was an avid sports fan, with the Eagles being her #1 team. She was a Jane-of-all-trades, and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do when she put her mind to it. She would be there for you at the drop of a dime, no matter the time of day, night, or distance. Her generous personality will always be cherished.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing at Egizi Funeral Home on Tuesday May 28, from 5:30pm-8pm and service to follow at 8. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to her son, Damon Morris’, college fund.
