Devoted father of Georgieanna Gattinella, Alfred Santo Scuderi, Jr., and Jennifer Anne Cashman (Kenneth). Loving grandfather of Tiffanie Lee, Gina Marie, Tommy, Kenny, Jr., and Kevin. Al was the Son Of the late Santo and Agnes Scuderi.
Al was a proud United States Marine , an amazing person both inside and out. He was a kind and generous man and would give the shirt off his back for anyone that crossed his path . You were blessed if you had him for a friend . He looked out for everyone. He always went above and beyond for everyone, he had a heart of gold. He enjoyed playing tennis for years, cooking, photography, spending time with his grand children, going to BJs a few times a week, watching CNN News and all of his other DVR’ed shows with Sandy. Packer Ct has lost a one in a million man . It will not be the same without him . All of the neighbors were a big family for 40+ years vacationing together and all. Al was also a problem solver and would take the weight of any issue off anybody and take care of it himself. Sandy was his pride and joy along with his kids & grandkids. He always wanted the best for them and always made sure everyone was okay. Al always found different ways to make money to support his family . he was a self made entrepreneur who even found time to do his families taxes when they needed him too. Al was always found at work doing what he loved most, especially being with his Caddy family. Al worked all the way up until last year, working always to provide for his whole family. His favorite holidays were always Christmas and Easter because he loved us all together and he was always the photographer during the big family Christmas parties, he loved taking photos. He was always so excited to see his brother and sisters and their families on Christmas Eve. Al was known for his shrimp cocktail during his family Christmas parties everyone was always so excited when the cocktail sauce was put out on the table. Al and Sandy have been married for 55 years. You would rarely ever see Al without Sandy nearby. Through 55 years of marriage to see them argue was a rare sight. He was the strongest man we all knew , and a fighter at that . Heaven just gained their best angel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. and Saturday 8:45 – 9:45 am at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

Al soo sorry that you are no longer with your family & friends. You were the best while my 1st husband came to work with you @ Caddy in 1968 as a truck driver. I'm sure you were the one that hired him. Many moons ago. You were always so kind to me also. If we all could live forever as young as we was back then. I'm sure you are getting some long needed rest. All our love from my children & myself. My Big Brother, This One's For You!
I know you were looking down from above and saw all the wonderful people who attended your viewing and funeral. I was in awe! There must have been close to 400 people who's lives you touched! Your eulogy from Al Jr. was so beautiful, as you know!
I told Sandy and the kid's to cherish all the precious memories of you, this is what I will do, also! There were 6 of us kids, 9 years between you and I! I remember a selfless big brother who worked so hard to help his mom and dad buy nice school clothes for his younger siblings, and give his siblings such memorable Christmases! I remember all the lovely Christmas gifts you gave me, even if you didn't get many in return! I remember you never complaining if I needed a ride somewhere. I remember when I was around 8 you gave me my 1st job, polishing your shoes for $.50 a pop! I was so thrilled to get that money, I couldn't wait to polish your shoes again and again! I also remember all my friends telling me how nice and cute my brother was, and how proud I was when you became a U.S. Marine!
As we grew older so did the closeness of our family! Thank You Al for being the best Big Brother a Little Sister could ever have! RIP

This just doesn’t seem real. I keep waiting for a phone to ring to hear your voice. I miss you so !!!!!
Who would ever think a “blind date” would lead to 55 years of marriage. Thank you is so understated for the gratefulness I have for you. Through the years you gave me all I asked for plus- our three beautiful children, a home so far past my dreams. From the age of 15 til now you looked after me. Even to the end when you asked me to call Al Jr at 10:00 PM to visit you. You really wanted Jr. to be there for me so I would not be alone in the hours ahead til you left us.
I am not so sure I gave you as much in return. Please know I truly loved you. Forgive me for my lack of patience in the last 4 months- I just wanted my Baby to come back to me . Of course God had different plans.
I know I am not alone- the children, grandchildren and Kenny Sr. Are there for me as well as your sisters (my sisters) and of course our Great Neighbors!
I will do my best to carry on but long for the day I will be reunited with you.
