Alfred Louis Melchiorre, Sr.

On January 30, 2023 of Washington Twp.  Age 82.  Beloved husband of Lucille (nee DiAntonio).  Devoted father of Alfred (Peggy), Linda (David), Michael (Jill), Eric (Dawn), and the late Albert Melchiorre.  Loving grandfather of Daniel, Krista, Ashley, Ariel, Alicia, Albert, Danielle and Brianna.  Proud great-grandfather of Ava, Travis, Aliana, Adelina, Logan, Connor, and Cecilia.

Fred was the ultimate family man!  He and his wife Lucille of 62 years created an amazing life together to be all about “FAMILY”.  He was so proud of each and everyone of them.  As the only child he took care of his mother Anna her whole life. He was a hard and dedicated worker retiring from Penn Distributors after 38 years. He was kind, generous and someone you could always count on or go to in a time of need.  His stories and laughter were contagious telling of all the memorable times in his life, growing up in South Philly and countless trips with his kids and grandkids. The stories were so heartfelt and fulfilling and will hold a special place in our hearts.  We cherished his opinions and advice because he spoke the truth.  He loved his wife Lucille dearly they were inseparable a love so pure that our whole family admired.  He will be missed beyond words by those closest to him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.  Interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alfred’s memory may be made to SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012.
