On January 21, 2022 of Woodbury. Age 72. Beloved son of Fred DeSabatino and the late Alma (nee Heslin). Dear brother of Jeffrey DeSabatino (Barbara), Andrew DeSabatino (Debbie), Andrea DeSabatino Levey (Robert) Elizabeth DeSabatino (Michael) and the late Raymond DeSabatino (Diane). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews and his furry companion Carly.

An avid reader all his life Alfred had an amazing gift for storytelling. He was a history buff and loved quoting lyrics from his favorite music. He had a heart of gold and his love for animals was endless. He was a diehard Eagles fan and an eternal optimist. He was a kind, considerate, gentle soul, a great friend and an amazing brother, uncle and son.

Al’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family. He will be laid to rest alongside his brother Ray at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Blackwood NJ.

Rest easy Al, we will miss you always.

In lieu of flowers donations in Alfred’s memory may be made to Homeward Bound, 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012
