On December 23, 2009, of Baltimore, MD. Age 60. Loving son of the late Alfred Peter and Kathryn nee Kennedy Beck. Dear brother of James M. Beck, Mary C. Lipinski and Kathryn M. Poore. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Peter graduated from St. Joseph High School in Camden and Creighton Univ. in Omaha, NE. He was a middle school teacher at Loyola Blakefield. Peter also loved spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass Thursday, Jan. 21, 4:00pm at Loyola Blakefield, 500 Chestnut Ave., Towson, MD 21204. Services under the direction of the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, Washington Twp., NJ.

Peter---I will miss you so very much. It will be very strange to fly into Philadelphia and not have you there to meet me. Chuck and I pray you are happy in heaven with our mother and daddy. I pray also you are having a great reunion with them. You will be missed by all of your family and by your students. It was so fast and I pray you didn't suffer too much or too long. We love you and will pray for you daily.

I was so saddened to read this today. Peter was a classmate of mine at SJHS and in a few of my classes in those 4 years. I always found him to be a caring person. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times spent together as a family.

Great memories growing up with you, Jimmy, Katie and Ditta. Our parents were good friends and you were a part of our life. Last saw you in the fall of 94, but often thought about you and the family. You were a good man and I am shocked and saddened to find this posting. As we used to say, see you and your parents later.
